Mr. Dolvin is a research leader at the Air Force Air Vehicles Directorate and serves as Program Manager for the Hypersonic International Flight Research & Experimentation (HIFiRE) program; an international collaboration with the Australian Department of Defence to investigate fundamental hypersonic phenomena and experimental systems technologies enabling for long range responsive strike weapons.
These photographs were taken at a AIAA Dayton-Cincinnati Section dinner meeting with Margaret Hanson, who presented "Aiming for the Stars: Frontiers of Modern Astronomy." Dr. Hanson touched on current topics in astronomy such as the Big Bang Theory, dark energy and matter, and exo-planets. She will also talk about current research in the field and where it is going.

Photographs from the AIAA Dayton-Cincinnati Section Lunch-n-Learn event with Dr. Doug Rabe. Dr. Rabe is the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Turbine Engine Research Center Director. The Compressor Research Facility (CRF) is the state of the art steady state test cell for compressor and fan research. Over the last few years significant enhancements have been made including Heated Inlet and Dual Drive to allow the facility to meet the needs of future aircraft and the research goals of VAATE’s ADVENT and HEETE programs.
